2 men robbed by armed teens while walking in Beverly Hills

Four teenagers believed to be connected to the robbery of two men who were walking in Beverly Hills Monday night were arrested a couple of hours after the crime, officials said.

Police responded to the robbery call around 6:40 p.m., a Beverly Hills Police Department spokesperson confirmed.

The victims, both Beverly Hills residents, were walking in the 600 block of North Doheny Drive when they were approached by two male suspects.

The suspects were armed with handguns, police said.

The victims told police the men had taken two Rolex watches and then fled in a newer model gray Chevrolet sedan.

Officers later detained the suspects at South Santa Monica Boulevard and Charleville Boulevard after the city’s surveillance system spotted their vehicle at Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way at about about 8:40 p.m.

Police stopped the vehicle and took four suspects into custody, and they found two handguns and the stolen watches, officials said.

Ziona Famoso and Cameron White, both 18-year-olds from Los Angeles, were arrested for robbery and criminal conspiracy, police said.

Ion Williams, 19 and of Los Angeles, also faces robbery and criminal conspiracy charges.

The fourth person was a 17-year-old boy.

The adults are being held in lieu of $100,000 bail at the Beverly Hills Police Department, police said, though jail records indicate that Williams is being held without bail.

The teens are due to appear in court Wednesday.

No other robberies matching the suspects were reported in Beverly Hills or surrounding communities, officials said.
