A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed to death in a north London park.
Officers were called to Highbury Fields, Islington, at about 21:00 BST on Thursday. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital, where he died.
A crime scene is in place and a murder investigation is under way, the Metropolitan Police said.
No arrests have been made and police are trying to find the boy's next of kin.
According to an analysis of London homicides in 2022, the boy is the youngest teenager to be stabbed to death in the capital this year.
One witness, Chloe, was in the area with her children and described what she saw.
"A big group of kids just ran past me - definitely over 10 - and I just didn't think very much of it," she said.
"As I got to the corner and turned, I could see there was a kid lying on the ground.
"There wasn't any blood or anything like that. Two police officers came and started tending to him. Two of his friends were there and they were holding his hands."
