DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. -- A subject in a Dickson County home invasion is shot by police.
The Dickson County Sheriff's Office and the Dickson Police Department responded to a home invasion Saturday night. The subject left the scene in a car, which he crashed on Gaskins Road, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
As an officer walked toward the crashed vehicle, the car came at him in reverse, the TBI reports. Shots were fired by the officer.
The man has been treated and released for non-life threatening gunshot injuries. He has since been booked into jail.
