A tense home invasion unfolded Sunday night at the Lake Worth Beach residence of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, where four armed, masked men allegedly held his mother outside while searching the home for valuables.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, the suspects entered the property on Duckweed Road armed with handguns. Multiple individuals inside the home reported that the intruders demanded cash and car keys before ransacking the interior.

Deputies say the rapper’s mother was forced to remain outside during the incident while the home was searched. A K-9 unit was brought in to clear the residence, but the suspects were not found. Investigators believe the group may have fled in a vehicle before deputies arrived.

Authorities attempted to contact 6ix9ine, whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez, and gain access to the gated Homeland Equestrian community, but those attempts were unsuccessful.

The incident comes after several previous encounters Hernandez has had with violence and law enforcement in recent years, including a 2023 assault at an LA Fitness in Lake Worth and prior arrests connected to traffic violations. His criminal history also includes federal charges in 2019 related to gang activity, narcotics trafficking, and violent crimes, for which he served time in prison.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate and has not announced any arrests. More details will be released as the case develops.
