Simone Biles Says Three Masked Men Burglarized Her Chicago Home and Stole Her Porsche

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has revealed that she was the victim of a home burglary during her final months living in Chicago, saying three masked men entered her home and stole her Porsche.

Biles, 29, shared details of the incident on TikTok on Monday, September 21. According to Biles, the burglars stole her Porsche GTS during the incident. The vehicle was later recovered.

“During our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche. Stole the GTS,” Biles said in the video.

Biles did not provide additional details about when the burglary occurred or how the men gained access to the property. She indicated that she may share more about the incident in the future, calling it part of a series of unusual events in her life.

The burglary also played a role in the couple's decision to get a Doberman Pinscher.

“I feel like I need a reality TV show,” Biles said. “The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity. It’d be really easy for producers to just film regularly. That is one of the reasons why we also got our Doberman.”

The Porsche Was Recovered

Although the Porsche was stolen during the burglary, Biles said the vehicle was eventually recovered. She was discussing plans to purchase a replacement vehicle when she shared the story.

Biles has not publicly provided information about whether anyone was arrested or charged in connection with the burglary.

The incident comes as Biles prepares for a move to Indianapolis, where her husband, NFL safety Jonathan Owens, currently plays for the Indianapolis Colts. Owens signed a one-year contract with the team in March.

The couple's primary residence remains in Texas, while Biles has spent much of her time in Houston. She previously told PEOPLE that she expected to officially relocate to Indianapolis later.

Biles is among a number of high-profile professional athletes who have experienced home burglaries in recent years, bringing renewed attention to the security challenges faced by athletes and other public figures.

For Biles, the Chicago burglary was another unexpected chapter during her time in the city—and one she says she may have more to say about in the future.
