A suspect is in custody following a home invasion reported early Thursday morning in the Hollywood Hills, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officers responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Maravilla Drive, just southwest of the Hollywood Bowl, at approximately 3:00 a.m. after receiving reports of a home invasion in progress. The neighborhood, known for its winding hillside roads and luxury homes, was briefly active with police presence as officers searched the area.

LAPD officials said the suspect was located a short distance away on Castilian Drive and was taken into custody without incident. Authorities have not released details about how the suspect entered the home or what may have prompted the invasion.

No injuries were reported, and it remains unclear whether any property was stolen during the incident. Police have not indicated whether additional suspects may have been involved.

The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine the circumstances surrounding the break-in and whether the suspect may be connected to other recent incidents in the area.
