Early Saturday morning, Los Angeles police responded to a reported home invasion at a multimillion-dollar residence in the Beverly Grove neighborhood, where two armed suspects allegedly forced their way inside.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were dispatched to the 700 block of North Fuller Avenue at approximately 2:20 a.m., according to authorities. Investigators said two male suspects, both reportedly armed, entered the home under circumstances that are still under investigation.
When police arrived at the scene, one suspect was taken into custody without incident. The second suspect fled and remains outstanding as of Saturday morning. Authorities said it is unclear whether the suspect escaped on foot or by vehicle into the surrounding neighborhood.
A home-invasion report was taken, though police have not confirmed whether any items were stolen or whether anyone inside the residence was injured. No suspect descriptions were immediately released.
Video from the scene showed officers surrounding the large property, conducting interviews, and speaking with residents as part of the ongoing investigation. Multiple police units remained in the area for several hours while evidence was collected and the search for the second suspect continued.
The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
