A man was arrested Wednesday evening after allegedly trespassing at a Tarzana property widely associated with singer Chris Brown, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Authorities responded around 6:45 p.m. to the 19600 block of Citrus Ridge Drive after receiving reports of a suspect unlawfully entering a residential property. Police said the individual allegedly jumped over a gate and made his way onto the premises before officers arrived and took him into custody on suspicion of trespassing.
The Los Angeles Police Department did not publicly identify the suspect and stopped short of officially confirming ownership of the residence. However, the address has long been connected to Brown in multiple media reports.
The latest incident marks another police response tied to the Tarzana property in recent weeks. Earlier this month, on May 1, officers were dispatched to the same block following a dispute outside the residence that reportedly escalated into violence.
According to police, a suspect allegedly fired a CO2-style handgun that discharged plastic projectiles during an argument occurring on the street near the home. Authorities later identified the suspect as Markeith Cungious, who was arrested on suspicion of discharging a weapon and possession of a weapon in connection with an assault with a deadly weapon investigation.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during that incident.
Police also clarified that the earlier altercation happened outside the residence and not on the property itself. It remains unclear whether Brown was present at the time or if he had any connection to those involved.
The back-to-back incidents have drawn attention due to the high-profile nature of the location and the frequency of law enforcement activity connected to the area this month.
Investigators continue looking into the circumstances surrounding Wednesday’s trespassing arrest, and authorities have not yet released additional details regarding motive or possible charges beyond trespassing. Source: KTLA
