Our very good friend Ex-Manchester City player’s home ‘shot at by gunman’ still on the run!

A gunman fired shots at the home before fleeing the scene.

Armed police were called to Fitzroy Simpson’s detached home in Stratton, Wiltshire, at 8.15pm yesterday.

A police helicopter and dog unit were sent out but the suspect is still at large.

The home, garden and large green space behind were all cordoned off for the crime scene.

A very good friend of the Panic Room Builders Team and Ex Soccer Star Fitzroy Simpson played in the Premier League for Manchester City from 1992 to 1995, and represented Jamaica internationally before retiring from football in 2008.

Search dogs were drafted in to comb the area and find the gun but it hasn’t been found.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called to an address in Stratton shortly after 8.15pm yesterday evening (13/12) following reports of what was believed to be a firearm being discharged in the area.

‘Firearms officers attended and extensive area searches and house to house enquiries were conducted.

‘Enquiries remain ongoing. No firearms were located.’
