Celebrity homes continue to be a frequent target for criminals, and over the weekend fashion designer and television personality Rachel Zoe became the latest high-profile victim.
According to reports, Zoe’s residence in Bel Air was burglarized early Sunday morning while she was out of town attending the opening of Zero Bond Las Vegas.
Authorities were alerted to the break-in after the home’s security system was triggered. Officers who were already patrolling the neighborhood reportedly spotted two men leaving the property shortly after the alarm went off. Police were able to apprehend one suspect at the scene, while the second individual fled and remains at large.
At the time of the incident, no one was inside the home. It remains unclear whether any valuables were taken during the break-in.
Zoe, a well-known fashion stylist and entrepreneur, has appeared on television and recently joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has long been a recognizable figure in the fashion industry, dressing celebrities and building a lifestyle brand around her signature style.
Unfortunately, Zoe is not the only cast member from the show to experience a similar incident in recent months. Fellow reality stars Kathy Hilton and Sutton Stracke were reportedly victims of burglaries last November while attending BravoCon in Las Vegas.
Reports indicate Hilton’s residence is located only a short walk from Zoe’s property, highlighting concerns about targeted thefts in affluent neighborhoods where high-profile homeowners often travel for work and public appearances.
Police have not yet released additional details about the suspects or the ongoing investigation.
Incidents like this serve as another reminder that luxury homes and celebrity properties can become attractive targets for organized burglary groups, particularly when residents are known to be traveling or attending major public events. Authorities continue to investigate the break-in as they search for the second suspect involved.
